Anyone know where I can get some quality dumbbells? Checked craigslist and there's nothing decent nearby. Don't just want to go to Academy or Walmart and buy the cheap crap. Rather buy once cry once :dunno: Not sure where to go and I'm sure shipping kills any online purchase.

Look up powerblocks on the net. Their pricey but good.

    I like the powerblock too.

Replaces well over $700 worth of individual dumbells and (I think) cheaper than the bowflex type. 50 lb. should be enough for most people unless you like to bench press with heavy dumbells. Unless you have trouble bending over, I wouldn't see a need for a stand. Also, shipping on over 100lb may get pricey...but fear not, I got my set at Dick's

I have the cheap academy ones. They work fine. I also have a few of the nicer ones that I bought at a garage sale. They weigh just as much as the others :)
