Got this from another forum and figured I’d pass it along here. I’ve always just used a pair of pliers or needle nose and waited to hear the click.

#5 - 3.5MM (0.138") ROLL PIN HOLDER
Cut one of the small donut rings in half and place it in the tip of the roll pin holder. After that simply put the spring in with the insert and snap it into place. Someone else in the thread recommended twisting in pushing but I would personally advise against that and if you do twist do it ever so lightly. I mangled one spring from barley twisting it.
Also while where at it Sprinco or colt gold spring? Which do you prefer or believe is superior to the other and why?
