Guys with the interest building in the FAL rifles and some of you picking up various "KITS" I thought I would share some information about various FAL GUNSMITHS who are PROFESSIONAL QUALITY builders.

Also, just for those looking for a TRUE FAL gunsmith to have your build completed by a professional let me know. I have a few that I now use, as most of you know, the man I was using to build my rifles was killed in a terrible accident. Since Rogers’s death I have had to go out and find others to build my kits. Here are a few that I recommend.

The guy that I have used for the last one is out of Oregon (Pat Jones) http://www.SAFLithgow.com and I have received very high reviews from his past customers. After speaking with Pat yesterday, I will be receiving my G1 by the middle of next week.

Another one is Johnny Glover out of North Carolina at http://www.cmparmory.com/ Johnny is the builder that is building my South African riFAL and that one will be posted here when I receive it back as well.

Tim Foreman from Gewehrwerks is also said (I have not used Gewehrwerks as of yet) to be a highly respected builder and also known for superior coatings including HOT BLUING and all aspects of gunsmithing....

As a side note: Guys when it comes to purchasing riFAL kits use caution before jumping into a kit you are unsure about. Many cases the ones selling the kits know as little about the kit as you do. I have seen some barrels that look like sewer pipe on the inside (worn smooth as glass) Also many kits may be missing either hard to find parts or just very expensive parts.
There are quite a few after market companies now making USA made parts for the FAL rifle for the purpose of 922R compliant, trust me, if you can stay with original parts do so, replace original parts with US parts ONLY when it is a MUST!!!!

Well I hope this helps a few of you, and to the FAL guys that are here that know more than I do PLEASE feel free to correct me anytime I may add invalid information! MANY THANKS!!
