It would have been nice if Glock could have made the G21 with the same G34 slide as they are doing with the G41. The slide on the G21 as it is now is bigger that what it needs to be, I am like other folks and disappointed that the 42 is just a .380 when they could have started it out as a 9mm and a 40S&W.

Correct me if I'm mistaken!...the G41 slide assembly is mounted on the standard G21 Frame, as such you may be able to retrofit your G21 (if you have one).

I was thinking about that also but you know how make stuff now days. You won't be able to that due to slides being different some how, look what they did with the GEN 3 and 4 guns you can not swap slides with them or recoil springs. The only thing you can swap are smaller stuff and some of the internals. If I am not mistaken SIG has done this with their newer 229's, 226's and 220's, I think there have been some other's that have changed some stuff on the guns that make so you can't swap parts from and older one to a newer one.

I do not know because I do not own any target pistols. I only own modern reliable defensive pistols. :)

Checked out the one at Barney's yesterday. Pretty nice. Still prefer one in 9mm though. Waiting on my g27 to clear NICS.
