Best concealed carry gun ever made. I have a M8, M10, and carry a PSP daily. What do you want to know?

Google: Cult of the P7 for answers.

I had one, (P7). It jammed on ball ammo repeatedly. Might have been the only bad one in existence, but that was my experience.

The gas cylinder requires proper scraping with the HK scraper tool or it will FTE. Happened to me twice until I learned to clean it properly. A few thousand rounds later the drop safety catch spring broke and rendered the gun a brick (in front of my dad of course). I replaced the spring myself and still shooting troublefree a few thousand rounds later.

I put about 250 rounds a week through it so I use this gun hard. It was made in 1982.

Mine was an early 80's model and was brand new, tried several different brands of ball. Just wouldn't work reliably.
Sold it off, never looked back. Back then their wasn't much hype about them.
I was kinda neat and I wanted to like it but it didn't like me. :)
For a small compact auto I like my 3913. Never missed a beat (yet)

    The P7 ranges in price from $550 - $3500.

I carry a Grade C police trade in. It's value is about $550 and is used the hardest. Since it's so cheap (relatively) I can carry it and beat it up and not really worry about it.

My P7M8 is worth about $1500.

My unfired P7M10 is worth about $3500 and is not allowed to leave the safe.

^^ You gonna get a can for it too?

They look sexy on the P7.

Cans work OK on the P7. A lot of gas escapes out of the breech on a P7 and it will be louder than other 9mm platforms. The HK P9S is considered the best 9mm HK suppressed platform. It uses the same barrel and delayed blowback system as the MP5 submachine gun.

However, I would probably get a USP-SD if I wanted to suppress a 9mm since I'm very familiar with the USP system.
