Hard Chroming??

Does anyone know of someone around the Baton Rouge area who does Hard Chroming to pistol slides.

Daniel has done 4 guns for me. The Springfield XD and the STI Open gun are both for me. The other two are a STI Spartan and a Ruger MKII 22/45.

Chrome shops are getting scarce because of the chemicals, EPA regulations, and disposal requirements.

I gotta ask...what's up with the sights on the XD? Why the 1/8" gap?

EDIT: Haha just looked again and realized it's just trick photography! Are those Dawsons? I have a set on my XDm and love them.

Yes, they are Dawson's. I can't stand a wide front sight. Both my XD's have the Dawson fronts and my STI's sport the Brazos MicroDot.
The only thing trick about the pic is the background was changed. The reflection of the sun on the top of the slide makes it disappear.
The pics don't really do the finish much justice.

Thats my BCG, and he did my P7 as well, y'all let me be the guinea pig. I'm happy with the way they both turned out. Daniel is a good guy, and does good work.

And the sad thing is I went with the super matte version on the heeler I had and it turned out better and talked myself into selling it to get an M8

I should have kept both.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, and yes some things were experimental of course. Trashed a bunch of junk slides and parts first. The new stuff is really awesome, but the shop will be closed until after June 1st. Time for DISNEY WORLD!!!!
