I'm watching the tube this evening and this Don Cazayou political ad comes on calling Bill Cassidy a liar.
It rebuffs claims made in a Cassidy ad the Don actually voted for tax increases, etc.
I noticed that in the Cazayou ad, all the footnotes referred to HR roll call votes.
The Cassidy ad footnotes referred to HB votes.
Now, if I remember my Schoolhouse Rock properly, "HB" is a House Bill, which once voted on becomes law when the President signs it.
A "HR" is a House Resolution, which amounts to nothing, has no weight of law, and has been called a waste of paper.
