I am seeing if there is anyone here either on the Northshore or the Southshore that would be able to, help a friend of mine to covert his VEPR 5.45 to take regular surplus magazines... He has all the parts, and I helped him install a completely new US made trigger assembly (so US made mags are green for 922r, or just one more part for surplus mags...) but using the drill press to install the bullet guide is too much, and we cant seem to get a good file for the mag catch... so if we could borrow some expertise for a few minutes it would be appreciated!!!

ask him if he needs some parts to make the full conversion. I have the stock, hand guards, and conversion receiver block from my vepr I am selling.

I'm renewing this call due to twist in fate, the vepr is mine again, and I have the mag catch filed and it locks in the mags but I need to install the bullet guide that I have, and I'll be looking for the stock adaptors for it...
