They are really decent little shooters for the money. Not as nice as the Wrangler but pretty sweet. I like my little birdhead 3.5 inch model the best. It’s my snake gun and pretty much only sees rat shot. I’ve never tried the mag cylinder.

Looks like a shorter Rough Rider. I have a 4.75" RR. Shoots great and I have the magnum cylinder.

I thought Heritage guns has aluminum alloy frames, like the Ruger. Ruger says their frames can't take .22 Mag forces, so how do Heritage guns do it? Are some Heritage rimfire revolvers made with steel frames?

Only the lower part of the frame is aluminum. I have read that it is a good idea to blue locktite all the screws.

Ordered mine from PSA only place I could find it. it was $169 and the Magnum cylinder for $29 from heritage. thank in mind you have to pay shipping and FFL. I had been looking for a 9 shot as it would be found one at PSA after I had ordered the Bar Keep

Yeah bruh, that’s how that one should look. Real sweet.
I like the birdhead version better for snake carry in the woods for sure. I have one with cocobolo wood grips and I found this one just over a year ago at PSA for a cool hundred bucks. Now that you can buy parts from Heritage you can have more options.

Hey Man, thanks for the heads up!! Yesterday, went to the Academy @ Juban Crossing and sure enough they had the "Magnum" cylinder in stock. With my military discount paid $26.99 + tax.

Now if I could just find some ammo for it. The sales guy just smiled, saying........ "Good Luck"

In your photo, the top revolver looks to be a Ruger "Bearcat". how does shooting it compare with the Barkeep?
