If you want to travel a little bit, Kartchners in Krotz Springs has really good hogshead cheese. (And their jalapeño cream cheese boudin balls are way better than Billys.)

And if you're ever in Thibodaux go to Bourgeois Meat Market in Schriever. Great hogshead cheese, best andouille, and awesome jerky. 4th generation owners still doing it the old fashion way.
