    Hot, fresh homemade biscuits.
Either simply add fresh butter or a hit of apple jelly AND fresh butter.
I keep highly-processed food to a minimum but I'm weak when it comes to fresh biscuits.

I used White Lily for these.

    On a side note........
I read about some controversy over King Arthur Flour on another forum. May post that in another thread.

Just in case some may think that these could have baked a little longer. I didn't want to get these too dark and dry them out and I knew there would be some leftover. Putting them in the oven or toaster the next morning to warm they are still perfect! It's hard to beat a warm biscuit with a pat of butter melting on each side with some good honey or fig preserves or mayhaw jelly or whatever your favorite jelly or preserve is. Mmmmmm.........!!!!!

    Those look mighty Good !

Be Proud .. there is an Art to making bisquits ... You need to have the God Given skill to do it right ...
    And I don't have it ... I don't have the touch ...
Mine are white Hockey Pucks at best...
My Daddy one picked one up , tapped it on the table and said " Boy ... You could knock a man out at 50 feet with one of these brick bats ... they hard as Rock ! "

If you have the "Bisquit Making Knack " ... Color me Green with envy ... I sure wish I could make 'em !
