Honey Island Shooting Range M1 Garand Clinic and Fun Match!

We're bringing back the M1 Garand Clinic. It's been several years since we've presented one and we've had some interest in bringing it back. Cost are $40 for CMP Affiliated Shooters and $50 for Non-members. Maximum number of registrants is 40.

This clinic covers all aspects of the M-1 Garand Rifle. The proper care, use and handling of the rifle will be discussed. Students can bring their own Garand or one will be provided. The clinic is followed by a 30 round "fun" match that allows the student to gain first hand experience firing this historic firearm.

Recently, on Memorial Day, the Honey Island Shooting Range hosted our Annual M1 Garand Clinic and Fun Match for the first time in several years. Men and women of all ages came out and spent their holiday with us and got to shoot an M1.

What better way to celebrate Memorial Day than to be able to help host an event for folks to be able to learn about and go "hands-on" with the firearm that General George S Patton labeled the "Greatest Battle Implement Ever Devised"?
