    Something to consider:
In the realm of mental illness, which is obviously where the government should start if they really want to work on reducing these insane acts of violence, does anyone have the expertise to spot crazy at this point? I mean think about it for a second.
So many things that would have sounded alarms just a few short years ago have now been normalized, or anyone pointing them out as being a sign of mental illness or at least unusual is shunned, attacked or fired from their job.
You can’t decide what gender you want to be? Don’t worry, we got you. You’re a 40 year old man and you wanna play dress up and use the ladies room? Ok, we’ll handle it for you. Wanna teach a class full of 3rd graders about sex and how to be a deviate like it’s a ride at Disneyland? Well, let’s pass some laws and have the feds protect you. Wanna shut down and burn down a city and defund the police? Sure, we’ll allow that. How much time you need?
Firstly, with all the purple haired, hardware faced Tik-Tok crowd deciding the new norms, there’s not a lot to go on in the way of spotting crazy. Crazy just don’t really stand out in the crowd anymore. And don’t get me started on Karens.
Secondly, if our own government and mass media continue to pander to all the mentally ill people in this country and treat sane people like criminals for calling them out, pointing them out or singling them out, how the heck are they ever gonna get a handle on mental illness?
EXCELLENT! THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM.

I want to reply to my last post. After relooking at it I think my poor writing skills have left it to read to others not which I wanted to say.

My sincere apologies to Jstudz as I quoted his post, and my post looks like I was speaking to him directly. That was not my intention, Sorry it reads that way. For all I don't know, Jstudz could be up at the Legislature promoting 2A rights on a daily basis.

What I should have written is, We all need to do our part. Just wanted those that read the post to keep in mind to take some kind of action against erosion of 2A freedoms. Push back, can have many forms. Could be volunteering with Boy Scouts, introducing others to shooting sports, calling or writing your local representatives, there are so many ways to do this, if we do not take some kind of action the end result seems clear. We as individuals will find what works for us and is effective with others.

We can all do our part.

If you follow the guns and gadgets channel on YouTube he does a lot of the leg work for you. He often post list of senators and numbers to call to oppose tyrannical bills being proposed. He really makes it easy to pay attention to current 2A events and get involved

Ammo, mags, anything that can be labeled ASSAULT RIFLE. These are the primary things I would concern myself with having enough of.
With potato head at the helm and the Dems powered up we are looking at another big ban of some sort. Who knows what will pass, we know they will try, the stars are in alignment, no shortage of crazy shooters….The storm weren’t so perfect when the Clinton-Brady-Feinstein-Assault Weapons ban was passed and the NRA was in their prime. Fast forward to now and consider what’s changed. ATF as out of control as ever, The most far left leaning (influenced) POTUS of our lifetime, Other countries banning nearly all semi auto firearms, NRA filing for bankruptcy and how many mass shootings under our belt since the early 90’s? I’m not necessarily placing bets on a ban, but I’m ready for one because I’m expecting one.
Regardless, even the veiled threat of a ban will make stuff disappear and triple in price.
From today's Wall Street Journal by Jason Riley: "“The unique horror of mass shootings,” the Times reported, “means they occupy a central place in parents’ fears, and in the nation’s political debate about gun access and school safety, even though they remain rare.” Most gun-related deaths—54% in 2020—are suicides. Mass shooting casualties are less than 1% of all gun deaths, and there have been 13 mass school shootings since 1966. These data points are cold comfort to those mourning the shooting victims in Uvalde, but they ought to inform any public policy response under consideration."

The last 6 years has had the market flooded with AR15's I found them for as low at $500 before the plan-demic. I would think most if not everyone has picked up at least one from 2019 up. If you haven't well expect to pay a few dollars more but still I don't think DPMS or Andersons will hit the $1000 mark but it will be hard to get legalation to ban the most popular sport rifle in American history. That said with the direction of the country and how fed up people are it would take a serious rigging scheme to get enough of the wrong people in office to make that change. But who knows

I need to get about 10 more AR mags and get my reloading area back together.
PSA had a $200 deal this week for 200 rounds of 5.56 (I think 855) and 10 PMAGs shipped. Not too shabby. I use to hit Brownells regularly for 10 packs of PMAGs shipped for 88 bucks. That turned into a mess though. The wife thought I was hoarding boxes of porno mags in the attic. Gotta watch how you label stuff.
It’s too bad PSA doesn’t still sell those awesome aluminum AR mags cheap like they used to.
