If you missed it, Kyle Rittenhouse gave his first interview since his acquittal to Tucker Carlson of Fox News Channel on Monday night. Here is the link to see it:

But before you watch it, remove yourself from any bias or support of gun Rights and the Right to defend yourself from being killed by a mob, or an individual criminal, or anyone else for that matter. With an open mind, watch this interview intently and carefully. Decide what you think of Rittenhouse and what he believes in and stands for. Decide whether or not he is a model American kid that everyone would be proud to call a son or not.

Then, think about this; if this is the "bad" guy to these America hating leftist freedom haters; who was treated this way by our own government, imagine anyone else?

We are truly living in dark and scary times with these America haters! Thank heaven this turned out the way it did.

A huge message was sent. Act against the communist mob and you will be dragged over the coals. His life will never be the same. Civil Law Suites are coming.

He is a fine son. Did everything right.

It appears the the woke legal system gets you after the fact. It is almost more dangerous after you face the attacker than when the attack actually occurs. Our legal system, in most cases, is very "woke" now. Kyle was very, very fortunate to get a judge who actually was honest and tried to be impartial. That is becoming more unusual.

Don't forget that Shifty Schiff has already gone on record that Federal Civil Rights cases should be brought against Kyle. He still faces the possibility of life in prison.

How this isn't 'double jeopardy' escapes me.

Schiff should be tarred and feathered, if ever there was a politician deserving of that fate.

It wouldn't be double jeopardy because the feds would not charge him with the same offense. He was acquitted of breaking state laws. The feds would not charge him again of breaking those state law. The supreme court has ruled that dual sovereignty allows for this and isn't violating someone's 5th amendment rights.

I am not sure if they will. They do not want this in the media next year to remind people of the liberal mobs that were burning American cities.

Federal civil rights charge is not considered double jeopardy since it is two different jurisdictions - state vs federal. the state charge was for the 'murder' charge. civil rights .

Title 18, U.S.C., Section 249 - Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr., Hate Crimes Prevention Act

This statute makes it unlawful to willfully cause bodily injury—or attempting to do so with fire, firearm, or other dangerous weapon—when 1) the crime was committed because of the actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin of any person, or 2) the crime was committed because of the actual or perceived religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability of any person and the crime affected interstate or foreign commerce or occurred within federal special maritime and territorial jurisdiction.

The law also provides funding and technical assistance to state, local, and tribal jurisdictions to help them to more effectively investigate, prosecute, and prevent hate crimes.

The law provides for a maximum 10–year prison term, unless death (or attempts to kill) results from the offense, or unless the offense includes kidnapping or attempted kidnapping, or aggravated sexual abuse or attempted aggravated sexual abuse. For offenses not resulting in death, there is a seven–year statute of limitations. For offenses resulting in death, there is no statute of limitations.

Anybody know what color is self defense? How about racism? What color is that?
Schiff should feel fortunate to not be facing charges himself.
There will not be another trial for Kyle Rittenhouse. The left is still losing ground on that narrative now that people are discovering more of the truth and how the media lied and spun the story to reflect untruths. Schiff and a few others are just trying to get a little more mileage out of the situation. Much like the Russian collusion crap even after the truth was admitted about the fake dossier, they’ll keep doubling down trying to keep the fairytale alive until they realize nobody is listening.

As Xeon64 said , they don't want this in the media again . I have learned that the chances of being charged for a crime has more to do with politics than it does if a crime was actually committed . What we need instead of BLM and all the other hate groups is a The Truth Matters movement .

What we need is a The Truth Matters movement .

    We already have one.

    “…we choose truth over facts…”

    Remember that?

I seem to recall someone at some point saying something to the effect of
“history will remember us kindly, because I intend to write it.”

Look around. That’s exactly what’s going on. Actual historical fact is being erased and replaced with a “truth” based narrative founded on modern interpretation. Churches speak often of the dangers of applying 21st century lenses to age-old situations. Abraham was a polygamist and chauvinist. Moses was a murderer. Joshua committed genocide. David was a war hero, sure. But he was also a murderer, adulterer, conspirator, polygamist, and father of an illegitimate child. Solomon, the wisest man in history, was undone by lustfulness and covetousness. Jacob was a liar, conspirator, thief, and polygamist. If we apply the 21st century morals to history, we get a very different view…

The problem isn’t acknowledging facts. The problem is choosing to erase or twist them into a convenient narrative rather than choosing to learn from them and committing to be better now and going forward.
