    good morning;

    thanks for info on "bill rice". there are at least 3 artist with the name bill rice.

    the bill rice on link is the Connecticut bill rice. Connecticut bill rice is my age and still alive. he has fantastic wood carving of all sorts of wildlife and paintings. sent an e-mail to him asking if the painting was his. replied "no".

    the new york bill rice, all you to know he is from new york but his art work is worth mega bucks. he is dead.

    a lady i know, an expert in antiques, said right off the bat the painting was the livingston parish bill rice. said he passed away some time ago and but was not able to provide any additional information. what caught me by surprise was her estimate value of the frame, a lot. she knows nothing about his paintings.

    the painting is not for sale but as for everything in life i'm receptive to offers if given.

    thanks again for your time.
