Is Playboy Magazine Pornography ?

Because another recent post resulted in many calling certain pictures of scantily-clad women "pornography"; I have decided to take another unofficial "poll" to check for what most feel is acceptable.

So; are nice photos fo attractive young women nearly nude or nude, but not doing anything suggestive or degrading, "pornography ? As in the regular "PlayBoy" Magazine.

Specifically, the regular magazine with which most of us are familiar ?

Please stick to that topic; don't venture off into "PlayBoy after dark" T-V, "Hustler", "PlayBoy philosophy, or anything else. Just the "girlie pics" in PlayBoy Magazine, OK ?

And they most certainly were pornographic images upload there; that is, they were not the same as the hundreds of rancid skanks with that stupid caption ---"I like dat me!"--- that he posted in the non-password protected sections.

why is this even being discussed as though it matters? I happen to agree with charles, but I also personally think nudity is porn. it doesn't have to be graphic representation of sexual penetration to be porn. besides, spanky is the 'beholder' in this instance, not you, me or anyone else.

based on the dictionary definition, it depends on what one would consider obscene. me? i would consider any photo of a fully/partially nude woman to be obscene. it may be art to some but not to me. especially when we live in a time where it's acceptable for women to go to the grocery store dressed like they were working the corner.

No Mr. Newton. I do not find that offensive, But I do think that Playboy is pornography. I don't think anything is wrong with it, but I bet neither did the girls fathers until thier daughters are in the magazine. Just to put this out there. I really like Playboy(among others).
