I thought this was a bit wierd when I read it, but it ought to be easy enough to test with a good RF field strength meter. Anybody got one to try it out?

Basically, the theory is that the metal coils in typical box spring and mattress sets act like antennae, focusing the energy in an area just above the mattress - where it leads to cancer growth.

I'm good. We use tin-foil sheets.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit. The first thing I thought this morning when I woke up was how I've finally gotten use to sleeping on a regular mattress again. Took about 3 weeks uggh.

I need a water bed so bad. Maybe one day when I don't have 100 pound dogs who sneak beside me when I fall asleep.

Heck fire and burn the matches. I need me a good lawyer. I don't feel good. It must be the mattress. OOOhhhhhh, somebody hep me.

Any piece of wire or coil of wire will have a resonant frequency and if there is a broadcast frequency that just happens to be resonant on any wave length or part thereof of that wire or coil there will be a re-broadcast of that frequency in a particular direction. It's called passive antennas and they do work.

Oh, do I feel bad now.

What they don't tell you is RF radiation does not have the strength to cut the chemical bonds as gamma and X-rays (ionizing radiation) do, which start the chain of events that may result in cancer. Same with cell phone radio waves.

These are physical properties which can be measured and experimented with.

This is such crap. I started to write more but there are so many lies and misconceptions that it would be longer than the original article.
