Do you get a new ID and issue date when you renew your lifetime permit?

I’m glad you asked that lol. I need to renew mine this year I think. I have a lifetime also and I moved and they told me they only change the address in the system and I wouldn’t get a new card. I only did the lifetime because all of mine are free because I’m a veteran. If you find the answer please let me know. Thanks I’ll do the same…

Not sure about the lifetime permit, but the regular one gets a new issue date each time you renew.

I'm a Vet and I got the 5 year so I could use it when I buy a new gun. There was no advantage for us to get the Lifetime we still have to get the training every 5 years
