I can't recall where I saw this online but I made it for dinner last night.

Started off with slicing some fresh Italian sausage open and griddling them. While that was cooking I tossed some sliced onions and bell peppers on the griddle as well. I didn't get pictures of that but fast forward to the sausages being cooked and the onions and peppers layered on top of the opened inside of the sausages.

I added sliced mozzarella on top of the peppers and onions and let that melt.

Then these were placed in those seeded buns I get from Costco that I mentioned in the past.

These were pretty darn good and easy to make. I will be doing these again soon!

I had a NG line run to the patio last year and got a new Weber to use with it. A griddle insert is the next thing I'm going to get for the Weber. Too many really good things I see cooked these days on a griddle, and it's much easier to use than my 15" cast iron skillet.
