    I had thought that your join number (found by holding your mouse pointer over your username and then looking at the pop-up at the bottom of the page) indicated the number you were when you joined BS and is kind of loosely associated with the date you joined. For instance my number is 816 and I joined in March 2008.

    On the Home page it says we have 17,201 members, but I'm seeing some actual join/member numbers that are over 100,000. Was I misinformed? What does the number associated with your user name actually mean?

    This post is ripe for a dick measuring contest by the usual suspects! :p

    Sorry, Blackhawk; I can't answer your question. I know your inquiry is sincere. :hi5:

    Ha Ha, My number is smaller than yours! :D

    I'm sure that's not all that's smaller. OHHHHH SNAP!! Haha. :chuckles:

    If you go to a profile, then delete the last bit in the web address after the last "?" and input a number, you can see who is who.

    Now, who wants to sell me a better number? Spanky...?

    The number represents the number order the account was created in.

    It is never adjustable even if someone with a lower number is deleted.

    What he's asking is why does it say 17k total members when people have numbers of 20k or more?

    Elaborate on this for me buggaboo! I love internet spy ****!

    Click on your name. In the URL box at the top delete from the right all the way to the ?

    Looks like this
    > bayoushooter.com/forums/member.php?1332-Hitman

    After deleting the name and numbers like this;
    > bayoushooter.com/forums/member.php?

    Then put in a number and hit enter. You'll see the account of that number.

    Like this;
    bayoushooter.com/forums/member.php?1

    and hit enter.

    See this account?
    http://www.bayoushooter.com/forums/member.php?56

    No, b/c it's been deleted, but does not affect the account creation number sequence.

    Alright. So your profile URL is http://www.bayoushooter.com/forums/member.php?21290-Emperor

    If you delete everything after the "?" (21290-emperor) and just put a number, you can find out who is that number.

    For example: if you put http://www.bayoushooter.com/forums/member.php?1 , you'll get spanky's profile.

    Well this is a let down. This is harmless and useless! I was worried someone could find out personal info.
