    I don't think there should be a 2A loss for non-violent felonies. If a guy with a gambling problem gets caught embezzling a few grand from his employer, does his time, and makes restitution, he should be able to hunt when he's back out. A woman with repetetive DWIs in her past should still be able to have a gun for protection.

    If you are a felon and think you should own guns after serving your sentence, you can petition a judge to reinstate your 2A rights. The cost to do so is part of your punishment for committing a felony.
