I don't mean to sound out of touch, but where have all of the NEW large bore Colt and Smith revolvers gone ? Pythons , 586 , 686 etc. Is demand that great or is production cutback for some reason?

Hebert guns told me they sell the wheel guns as fast as they get them. I bought a model 69 last month. Plus there is a lot for production work involved making a revolver than these molded plastic and stamped steel semi autos of today.

I never want to shoot that. Worst I shot was a 308 bolt action pistol with a 12" barrel. It was awful.
Looks like it is only the 460 that comes as 14 inches. The 500 is 10.5
Maybe they do not make 500 in 14 any more or never did and it was a 460 in my hands.
I remember it had the sling
    Model 500 | Smith & Wesson

My memory is not what it used to be. Or maybe it is and I can't remember..........
    The 10.5 is still cool.
Back when was young and stupid I owned a few T/C rifle cal.pistols
