Local source for ak receivers

I have a few kits that i would like to build, and would prefer to get receivers locally. Do any of the gun stores carry them? I did not see any at the last gun show. Just hate to have to buy them online then pay a transfer fee almost equal to the cost of the receiver, on each one...

NoDakSpud hands down for rec'rs, they'll have some more ready in a few weeks so I'd get on their list if I were you.

As far as 'transfers' go, shop/ask around. Here in SE Texas I drive 20 miles (40mi round trip) to use a Class 3 dealer, but he does internet transfers for only $10. Others in this area can be as high as $40, that of course is BS.
