    Hello,

Looking for some input here. Looking to get a bolt gun in 308, the following requirements are what I'm looking for:

    1) Takes AICS mags
    2) Cerakoted barrel
    3) Threaded

Now I know you might be thinking not too hard to find. You are right I found this Bergara pictured below to check all those boxes. The only issues I had was the weight being 8.9lbs. Was wondering if anyone knows of a gun that is lighter that meets that criteria? I dont really want a precision chassis either I'm fine with a traditional type stock or one like the Bergara.

gonna be hard to keep the weight down with the threaded option, unless you buy one and get it threaded... most companys tend to go with a heavy or bull barrel to thread... i think the ruger predator is about the lightest threaded couture barrel on the market.. My tikka t3x CTR has a pretty light contour barrel but takes beretta 10 round mags

Springfield Waypoint with the steel barrel is the best for what you are looking for. Or did you ever look at the new Bergara B14 Crest? They are brand new but what you are looking for.

Could also try a Christensen Arms MPR with steel barrel.

Could always go the carbon fiber route if you are looking to go lighter.
Search around and you can find some real world prices much cheaper than listed msrp.
prices listed on last pic is euro optic.
