SO since I hate threads that just kind of die on the vine, I wanted to update with what I've bought. For the distance rifle, I bought the Burris XTR3 and put it in Badger Ordinance rings. Overall fairly good glass, and scope for the money, but definitely on the lower end of things.
I bought a Zeiss Conquest V4 4-16x44 in an Aero Prec. Mount for the distance competition AR.
I also bought a Zeiss Conquest V4 1-4x24 in an ADMMFG mount for the run and gun AR.
Both of the Zeiss products are fantastic. Glass, reticle, function, dialability, ect. The burris on the 308, I would love to sell/trade for another Zeiss Conquest V4 4-16x44 for that gun.
