    The tritium scope that worked for me was an ACOG 4x32 which i really love except for this rifle i want variable. And i have never looked through an illuminated scope only Red dots with magnifiers. That's what I have to go off of.

    The ACOG has an etched glass reticle. I'm willing to bet that you will be fine with a led backlit variable power scope.

    I'm not too far from Metairie. I have a 1x8 first focal plane with led backlighting that you can look through.

    I will try and look around at some stores to see if they have any scopes but which one do you have exactly?
