A friend of the family is selling a like new Marlin 1894 in .357/.38.
It doesn't have the box or anything.
He is asking $600 and I think that is pretty high but I would like another opinion.

Or of anyone else has one they can PM me if they wanna sell it.

I have a like new one too, bought in the mid 90's. $600 sounds like the price you'd pay if you really wanted to buy. $500 sounds like a price to buy for if someone really wanted to sell. I wouldn't sell mine for $600. JM is not making them anymore, plus I like it too much. Lever action is just so damn cool.

Ok. I just didn't know what the market was bringing.
They are $603 new on impact guns.
Oh well. I will be passing on this I guess.
I need something to shoot all the .38/.357 ammo I have lol

I do not have ANY personal experience with the new ones, but Marlin is now owned by Remington, and what I have read is the older JM (John Marlin) marked models are more sought after than the new production. Some people believe the Q/C on Remington units is not up to the standards of the older units. JM marked units command a premium.

    Of course, YMMV.
