I’m curious in what this Marlin 1895 GBL 45-70 with the JM stamp would go for? Any inquiries would be greatly appreciated.

They are selling for a pretty nice sum right now. It seems there is an excitement surrounding the lever guns and the 45-70 in particular. I've seen them selling around $1200 to as high as $1500.

I have the same gun, swapped my wood out with sbl wood and bassically made it into a “jm” ABL LOL… I think they only made like 500 “jm” GBls… falshooter is right… to the right person they are worth over $2k +… and to the other $700…. Only way to find the true collector price would be to post it in gunbroker or marlinowners.com… there’s still a few die hard “jm” hunters in there who like to have a complete set of the big loops… and the gbl is the rarest in jm

Noting like a big bore thumper with buckhorn or ghost ring sights for pig detail on my property!!!! I have had lpvo’s on them before and work great, but for a little camp gun or rifle to go check the traps and feeders it’s hard to beat a iron sighted thumper

I have the 444M in the same style I paid 450 for a few years ago and ended up taking the rings off and its a favorite..
If I didn’t already reload for 45-70 and 44 mag I’d get into 444, I know it would be easy with the .44 Bullets and powered, but don’t wanna get new dies and brass lol
