I was in a hurry to fill out the application because the expiration date is almost here, and I just said "no" to everything. On my initial application, I said "yes," and my Doctor completed the paperwork.

It's an honest mistake and obviously they have the release from my Doctor on file already but I'm worried they are going to think I'm lying or something similar.

Would you wait to see if they say something in case they just go ahead and approve it anyway, or would you be proactive and tell them, possibly opening up an unnecessary can of worms? Or perhaps they will appreciate my being proactive.

There's no way to change the application online once it has been submitted. This was this evening, so no one has likely reviewed it yet.

It may be just me, but I would make a trip to Baton Rouge. Take the day off if you are working.

My thought is, rule #1 “Honesty is the best policy”.

Think consequences on the other side. Let’s say you get approval, you figure great, everything is ok. 3-4 years from now you pull your firearm, maybe shoot someone, maybe a fatality. Either way, the police get involved.

Research is done, now it all comes to light. In everyone’s eye, you are guilty, a criminal, etc.

    See rule #1

It is not required however you cannot carry 1000 ft. from a school zone without a permit, of which there are more than many think.
PLUS if you're traveling you've unarmed your self.

As I understand it, Permit-less Carry only applies to your state of residence. I doubt such would ever be national under any Federal DEM Administration.

This is correct. Some states offer/ recognize Louisiana CCW permit. That's the main reason I'm getting mine. RECIPROCITY

Apologies. LA CCW permit. So, the LSP.
Nah, apologies for my part. I was just being a dick. I was pretty sure that’s what you meant, but my wife has a habit of rushing through processes at times and assuming she has conveyed her intent and or “finished the form” (so to speak) correctly. I may be totally mistaken when I assume that could have been the case here. I guess I was just trying to point out in a subtle dickish way that you might have done the same. Hope there’s a way you can correct it without trouble.
