Mounting or bedding a marlin 917 .17hmr into a ruger .17hmr or savage .17 hmr

Good evening everyone, Is it possible to take the barrel & receiver out of my marlin model 917 & mount or bed it into a ruger or savage stock chambered for the .17HMR with bottom clip? Thanks to anyone who can advise, point me in the right direction or give me the website address to make this possible. Thanks to everyone.

You may want to look at a 3rd party stock made for your gun but configured more to your liking. I think Boyd's is a sponsor here. I didn't find much. Here is a link to a thumbhole style, probably not what you are looking for.

I think with some work you could fit an action into another gun maker's stock, it may not be too pretty, kinda frankenstein-ish.
