It’s national law-enforcement appreciation day

Just wanted to say thanks to all LE for putting there lives on the line each and every day for us while we go on with a some what normal life

Agreed with OP.

I can't think of few, if any other profession where the actions of the very few bad apples is used to cast dispersions on the overwhelming majority of good officers.

Law enforcement runs deep in my family. My grandfather was an officer in the 1930's. My brother retired after 44 years. I worked as a part time deputy for 7 years in the 1970's. My sister in law was the first female officer in Hattiesburg MS. She was killed in the line of duty on 12/31/1984. The majority of the officers that I have met and worked with were good people.
