need recommendation for FTP upload site

I need a recommendation for a site so a friend of mine can upload a 500 meg video so I may download it. It is too big to email of course.

We use this at work and it's great.

If you have a gmail account, google drive works well also. 15GB of free storage and you can share any file with people.

I also use dropbox.

I have access to a handful of web servers if needed. All have ftp access.

I would skip FTP all together and use something like BitTorrentSync. Its Peer to peer, and private. It works great for flat files like video, pictures, word, excel. But sucks for database files like you might find in quickbooks.
