Needing help on night vision

Looking to build a helmet set up,listened to podcast,watched countless you tube videos,talked to a few different dealers,I’m completely overwhelmed with how many different company’s,tubes,housings,factory sealed units etc..I was hoping to talk with someone local to get recommendations and maybe meet up and try out a helmet rig with a g24 and a pvs 14 and abs hopefully find a good seller without pepper spots or blems,I’m in Baton Rouge,Zachary,denham area thanks for any help and suggestions in advance I just want to get the nose bang for my Buck and see how strained my eyes are to the green vs white to see if it’s work the extra money also
