New Glock Rifle

Looks like a 5.56 in progress. Supposedly gonna be a similar design to a AR180 with a quick change barrel. There has been a tangible prototype since at least January that had stanag m16 flavored magazines. There will be a good article coming out on it soon from a very popular firearm blog institution. Recoil Magazine made mention of it, as well...I'll believe it for sure when there's an official announcement from Glock, but this at least seems to suggest they're considering it.

I’m right there with you with the covid BS however this is completely a different subject all together. It’s not really a stretch to think a Glock might make a rifle. It’s been talked about for years it will happen eventually regardless of it’s this specific model or not.

This. The bolt and carrier look a lot in profile like the ACR. I like the ACR's bolt system, but the ACR is a relatively heavy rifle (to me). But then, I'm getting old so .......

If glock announces a release date on a 5.56 rifle, I’ll no doubt be quick to get in the “pre-order” list. I just showed my wife this thread and told her, it’s not a question, it will be purchased
