I was in an accident and it looks like my 2017 GMC will be totaled. I love GM but their current transmissions are terribly weak even in their 2500s. After doing a lot of research it looks like the current Dodge trucks have the best auto transmission out there.

Wondering if anyone has experience with the Newer Dodge 1500 trucks.

I have a 2020 Ram and love it. It pulls the **** out of my camper. Get 20 mpg on the interstate. I traded in a Chevrolet on it, no comparison. I looked at Ford, Chevrolet and Ram when I bought. Liked the Ford, but they were real proud of those. Glad I went with the Ram.

Do you have the 321 or 392 rear end? I really want one with a 392.

I have purchased about 20 new trucks and none of the full size V8's got 20 MPG.
The newer trucks must have improved quite a bit.

Fuel mileage is variable depending on your driving style. Two different people, separately driving the very same vehicle, will likely get different mileage. Traffic has something to do with it also. My F150 5.0 has given me as high as 24 mpg on the highway and as little as 14 locally. It depends on how heavy my right foot is.

My right foot "may" be a little heavy.
