    just wanted to introduce myself,

    Name's Chris

    From Slidell, formerly Chalmette.

Enjoy almost anything outdoors, boating, fishing, shooting, hunting. Unfortunately I don't get to do those things as often as I'd like thanks to work and family stuff.

Lost MANY guns to Katrina(pic below). They were in my safe in my garage and the combination that was written on a piece of paper went missing in the flood waters (I had recently purchased the safe and didn't know the combo by heart). Were stuck in a damp, humid, carpeted safe for weeks before I finally was able to get it cut open. They were all completely destroyed by rust and corrosion.

    You poor bastard!

    Welcome!

Seriously, I wouldn't give up on those totally. I salvaged some guns that were actually underwater the entire flood duration in Lakeview. They ain't pretty, but every one of them shoots. Just takes a little time and elbow grease.

And when you say "thanks" to work and family stuff; do you mean they are cutting into your "me" times sometimes like mine?:mamoru:
