NOPD shoot man 12 times in the back

The "alleged suspect" allegedly pointed an "assault rifle" at the LEO's.

"He had wounds in the back parts of his leg, in the upper area of his back, and one in the back of the head," said Dr. Frank Minyard, the Orleans Parish coroner, Monday. "I don't know what happened. All I know is that all 12 wounds came in from the back part of his body."

No where in the story does it say AK47 but all the damn comments are about his AK47.

They have video from a private security camera showing him aiming the rifle at police.

Saw that on the news last night. They said he pointed an ak-47 at police and this time it was an ak-47 video of the gun showed it on the ground with the grip broken off. No talk of if it was a fully semi auto this time or if it had a 50 round clip in the magazine.

I hate when they use the wrong terminology, too....

Maybe it was a drum-type clip.
