    I'm in key west and was actually hoping it would head this way. Hurricane=evacuation to Orlando for 3-5 days while I get paid to do nothing. Probably sounds selfish but I love storms and you can't beat a weeks worth of pay (including food, gas, and hotel) for doing nothing!

    That's the truth.. Dont have to worry about hurricanes as much up there but I've been through a few in other parts of the country and had to evac a few times. I've also had the "pleasure" of watching a few full blown tornadoes including one that up rooted a large pine tree and crushed our barn into oblivion a few years ago while leaving us without power for nearly 2 weeks. But for whatever reason I tend to enjoy storms and what not, and in today's world, 2 weeks without power is good practice for SHTF
