Has anyone here purchased firearms from online dealers like this ? No location , name , phone number or address given , only msg , chat or email . I am not saying that they are not legit , I am just asking if anyone has had any experience in these types of dealers. I am skeptical of this type of thing. I think I will stay local for the record.

Where do you even find something like this? If it looks like $hit and smells like $hit it’s probably $hit. Personally I’d steer clear of anything online that’s not a reputable dealer.

Give me the site. I can help.
Just did this behind the scenes for someone on here looking for a gun. Showed him that it was a vacant lot in the city. Fake as hell. He was surprised and relieved.

Or just do EZ check on their FFL.

A dead giveaway about these sites are the fact that they don't take credit card payments and payment is through Cashapp, Zelle, Bitcoin, etc. No provision to select a FFL dealer to receive the firearm or they say you can add your FFL dealer after you pay for the "so-called firearm".
There are lots of sites purporting to be Marlin/Ruger/S&W, etc. firearms sales sites. I wouldn't be surprised if these sites were operated by the chinese government to get free money out of Americans.

Yup, we advertise on Sportsman, and get some customers from there, but the classifieds are the wild wild west. The site owners know it and intentionally dont moderate them.

One way to check for scams is to right click on the image and search Google for the image. Google will compare images from billions of sites and return ones that match. You will often find the same exact ad on multiple site across the USA by doing this.

Even easier is to stop with the technology part. No email, no text, no snapchat.....CALL the person. That will tell you everything. Scammers wont talk on the phone.
