As a lot of you know I’m in the honey business and sell honey from a self serve kiosk at my house in BR. I built a small stand maybe 5 years ago and it has served me very well , but I’ve been itching to upgrade it so I did that the past few months. I repurposed some old shelving from my brothers garage and then scraped up the other materials from my shop that was sitting around. I did buy a few pieces of wood and the glass from the doors, but I know I have less than 100 bucks in the project. I saw a stand like mine on the internet a few years and modified it to meet my needs. It took longer than I wanted it to as I had to work on it between my bee work and about 5000 other projects. It came together pretty nice and I’m looking forward to getting my honey in it for the Christmas holidays.

That looks great! I may have to use a design like that for my little free library/free plant nursery.

You make me miss being a beekeeper! I miss it anyway, but the way you do it is the best way.

Well done Bee man! I enjoyed what I got out of your old kiosk. We go through a couple gallons of honey per year and it was nice to get away from the storebought for a minute. People doubt me when I say I can taste a difference but I absolutely can. My favorite is still the orange blossom honey we get when we pass through Florida. Thanks for keeping the bees going!

Looks great. How 'bout posting an address & hours of operation for us unfamiliar - wanting to become customers? Lost my local supplier after Katrina - now hit or miss - or store bought as a last resort.

The stand is located at 5679 College Drive in Baton Rouge. It is open 24/7 and payment is under the honor system. There is a steel box mounted to the stand for your payment or you can pay with zelle or Venmo. If you have any questions you can reach me at(225) 978-2403. Have a great week.
