So I decided to take the plunge and try to bubba my p226 because that thin trigger from SRT reminded me that I need to lose weight as my fat-ass fingers got pinched by it, so I ordered a standard thicker one and installed. During the three hour ordeal of figuring out how to install it, the peg on the trigger bar where the trigger actually pivots and such was the real MVP, taking some torque I think as I was installing the trigger bar back. It didn't look like it bent or flexed, but the pressure on it worried me.
I was wondering, how much can that little pivot peg take flex wise as I was re-installing the trigger/trigger bar? Didn't know if that was a known breaking spot on the trigger bar, so does it break easy? Or am I prolly fine if there was no actual flex marks or any noticeable flex on it during re-installation? Was worried any torque on it beyond standard trigger use was gonna deprecate its durability much at all.
