Wait a minute, are you trying to tell me that there are white people in Minnesota? Pull the other one.

In any case, using a whole research program to determine if Minnesota even has a summer season seems like a terrific waste of resources.

This kind of thing goes on at every university to some degree, spoken or unspoken. There are also $20bil+ in scholarships and grants available to "minorities and people of color" and even specific "races", whereas only a portion of that is really available to white people.

When I was working on my Masters there was a Blonde Haired Blue eyed genetic female in our cohort on a full ride for being a women of color.... She was literally whiter than my Northern European American mutt ass... But free ride for her and I was burning Navy Tuition assistance for 50% of the fees.(back then the rest was out of pocket). At least the honorable Elizabeth Warren was rewarded for being Native American.
