Picked up an 'Old standby' today

I wanted a pistol to teach new shooters on. Saw a Ruger Standar Model (precursor to the Mark 1) in a pawn shop. Picked it up. Figured it would be kinda cool to loan new shooters the same pistol people have been learning on for 60 years.

I detail stripped it and put it all back together. Looked like the first time anyone has ever done that, judging by the sludge.

I don't even want to admit. $175.00 I knew I was getting ripped off (I figure its worth about $125), but I wanted it and I am an impulse buyer.
