Mine was at front door this evening. Nice looking, but disappointed as it wouldn't cut hot butter. I thought it would have come sharpened or at least an edge.

First thing I did with one of mine was try to cut a piece of paper, and it tore it, not slice it. I was somewhat disappointed, as my leek I have been carrying for a long time will slice paper like its not even there. I ran the BS knife down my forearm to see if it would shave it, and now I have a freshly shaved strip that is smother than a newborns ass.

Being able to slice paper is more about the finish on the edge than how sharp it is. Kinda like cutting a tomatoe versus bread. A sharp knife can do one better than the other depending on its microscopic edge finish.

Mine was pretty dull as well. Surprised me because I got a Native for Christmas and it came pretty sharp out of the box. Oh well, good thing I have a Sharpmaker kit coming for my birthday.
