Range bag advice

Need some advice on a range bag. Looking for something to hold 1 maybe 2 rifles (10/22 and/or AR15) and 2 to 4 hand guns. I have a Cabela's range bag that can hold ammo and mags, but I was looking for something where, I can just put one or both my rifles, with 1 to 3 of my hand guns with me and head to the range. I doubt I would carry 2 rifles, one is fine, and I doubt I would carry more than 2 pistols.

Basically I am hoping for rifle, 2 pistols and about 6-10 mag holders. Holding ammo would be a plus but at that point I can have my range bag that holds ammo, and or other mags. Is there anything like this out there that is good?

What you want is a Savior Equipment case. I have one of their Covert 30" Single Rifle cases. It has backpack straps that can be stored away, two exterior pockets, and a divider in the middle with PALS webbing on one side. The larger exterior pocket has PALS webbing where I attached a six magazine MOLLE pouch for 30 rd AR magazines. The top pocket holds my silencer and a scaled down laminated copy of my tax stamp for the silencer. I may eventually buy a longer length, but their double rifle cases are just as nice. The member Southerncanuck actually told me about them.

I can store a 16" AR-15 taken down without issue. I also have shock cord through the interior PALS webbing to hold my 10/22 BX-25 magazines and some other stuff. You can easily store all of it in that backpack.

In addition to my backpack, I use a 215 Gear Range Bag that is massive. It's what I take when I'm only shooting pistol. It holds everything you could need for a day on the range, good or bad weather. It's a big bag, but when I'm driving a while to get to a secluded range, I don't want to forget anything and I don't want my day ruined by a little rain.

Yea I think that $200 bag is because of the color or something. The bags go on sale every now and then. They can be had at more reasonable prices.

At $100, the one you linked is probably going to do what you need for sure. If you need to carry ammo separate, the ITS Gizmo Bag is awesome. It can hold 28 loaded AR mags in something the size of a shoebox.

I’ve owned quite a few drago gear nylon bags and also a rifle bag. They are very nice and well built. Not sure what length would be best for your needs but def check them out. Academy was carrying them for a while and may still do so.
