It’s in Plaquemine. Open Tuesday through Sunday.

Where has this been all my life??

I’ve been down here mostly since covid bs and every parish/sheriff range showed up as closed on Google maps.

It’s free for veterans too?? That’s crazy to me.

    Thanks very much sir

Nice range, Thanks for sharing, but whats this tower for? Some sort of elevated shooting platform? I don't see any bench or rifle rest to use this unless this is for some sort of "Tactical" training.
Without any backstops present and judging by those first set of targets, I'm gonna guess that it's for bows... probably for hunters to practice firing from elevation like a tree stand.

    I haven't been inside yet.

Anyone know how far their range lines are?
Also is it strictly pistols, or do they have a rifle range as-well?

    Thanks.

I shoot at Iberville regularly. Depending where on the east bank you start the Plaquemine Sunshine ferry is the way to go. Compared to the bridge from where I live the ferry cuts off about 12 miles. YMMV

$25/month membership. Nobody has said anything to me about range rules. I have gone through clips as fast as I could pull the trigger with nothing said. It's clean and well run with the largest inventory of new guns that I've seen anywhere near here, all priced reasonably.
M1 garands have clips, pistols have magazines

Shotguns at an indoor range? Would a Saiga be welcomed?
Range rules are available from a link at the bottom of their website. I recommend you read those and maybe give them a call. I haven’t fired shotguns there. Looks like the restriction is no birdshot or buckshot
