I’m using a red dot on a 12 gauge smooth bore that I use for rifled slugs. The particular one I have is extremely light, clear glass, easy to point. My accuracy is very good when compared to the bead only. The issue I’m having is very early morning and the last few minutes of shooting light in the evening, I can not lower the illumination for the dot down far enough. On the lowest setting it still blinds me to the point where I can’t sight down range.
The question I have for y’all is what brand and model do y’all recommend for dawn and dusk operation?
The model I’m currently using is Feyachi V30 2 Mia dot. I also have a sight that uses a red or green dot with the same issue regardless of color.

Although there are many that are likely capable, my goto cheap red dot is the sig romeo5. It gets pretty dim, as well as very bright.
