Would this section of the forums be the appropriate place to get help appraising a rifle?

I have have a rifle I am considering selling and I have not bought or sold a rifle in some time and am at a loss what to price it at.

Its a Rock River LAR-15 with Magpul furniture.

The trigger group is a Tac-Con 3MR trigger with safe, single, and positive trigger reset firing modes.

Would include the Aimpoint Pro optic, 4 magpul 30rnd magazines and 2 promag 40rnd magazines.

ahhh id say around $1200-$1500 with trigger/aimpoint depending on how the market is going... close to $700 in used value for the trigger and aimpoint... but all of thats assuming you find the right fella looking for all of that in a package

That's a solid rifle and manufacturer, but it's a bit of an outdated and unique piece (delta rings, front sight, and rifle stock). Although myself I would love it with a MI two piece rail.

You could probably get the most money by selling the trigger, aimpoint, and rifle separately, although it would be more work.

Also, I agree with bigchillin on the dollar range.

agreed, times have changed, they are still a primo company, but 5-10 years ago RRA was one of the top runners...
