We're less than 2 years away from a Draft and WWIII...

By the way...McCain is against the 1st amendment, and is not pro-2nd amendment.

    god help us all...

Whats the matter with the draft and WWIII?

The matter is you're 31 and won't get drafted......I'm a young buck with a strong back. Perfect for the UN Army

So the question is, Will you stay home or go to the polls kicking and screaming and vote McCain anyway to keep Obama or Clinton out?

Me personally would rather throw my vote to a 1/2 Liberal than risk a FULL OUT socialist Liberal getting the presidency.

I'll vote 3rd party or not at all, unless the miracle that is needed for Ron Paul to win comes about...

You don't think replublicans voting third party will further the chance of the dems?
    ------------
I'll copy/paste what I sent my mailing list about him...

John McCain is unstable and as liberal as can be. We will disarm veterans with PTSD and kids with ADHD(HR 2640, which McCain did not try to stop), but we can put a vet with PTSD(A POW tortured for years and doesn't have PTSD? I dont think so!), and known issues with his temper, in the Oval office in a position to control the most powerful military in the world?

He has -NO- qualities that I want in a president...

    Pro-Amnesty, Anti-1st & 2nd Amendment, Pro-World Empire & a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

I have no interest in the Men & Women of the USA being drafted so they can go die in some country that doesn't want us to be there b/c people are corporate cowards and refuse to secure our borders to help end terrorist risks here. If it were WWII-like it would be one thing, but this war is driven by an -idea- that cannot be destroyed with weapons. Since the War on Terror started there have been more terrorist attacks around the world than ever and more recruitment in terrorist groups than ever before.

To really end Organized Terrorist groups around the world the USA would have to stop its -World- War on Drugs, Terrorist groups are funded by illegal drug trades which only exist because the US decided to threaten every nation in the world with Sanctions over their drug laws...The Netherlands is no exception.

I would -gladly- fight for this nation...if I were fighting for the people.

Try a reading comprehension class. He is saying he'd rather vote McCain then allow in Hillary. And that's the way this is shaping up. Either vote McCain, or accept Hillary as your next president. Only choice you have. Any third party vote is a vote for Hillary. Any Republican not voting for McCain is a vote 4 Hillary that goes unchecked. If YOU don't vote McCain then you CANNOT complain about anything Hillary does when she wins (and she will if everyone doesn't put their support behind the GOP candidate and get the vote out)...

Yep that's exactly what i'm saying. I'm gonna have to dig down deep to do it but if McCain get's the nomination, then I will vote for him. I couldn't in good conscience help along Osama Obama or Shillary even if I were standing on principle.

I knew what he was saying. :)

I would rather Clinton or Obama than McCain...that is what -I- am saying.

Totally weird...I know, but I'd rather a left wing liberal democrat destroy our nation than a "Conservative".

Nothing good is coming from any of these people, I'd rather the bad come from a side that doesn't supposedly represent me or what I believe.

McCain will make the word "Conservative" a curse word...I don't want that.

Sorry, but Bush already did that. That is why we are in this predicament. Had the Neo-Cons not totally destroyed true Conservative principles, this election would have been a gimme...

Kind of like what Ann Coulter was saying, vote in Hillary and she'll royally F*** things up so bad that in 4 yrs. the GOP will rally again behind Raegan Conservatism.

I just can't, in good conscience, vote for Hillary or the terrorist trained Osama Obama

I argue that there is never a wasted vote as long as a person votes on their principles, and I have to do that every time...win, lose, or draw.

Sorry, but I would vote for anyone who is running against Hillary. And that is who is going to get the Dem nomination, mark my words. This election is about keeping HER out of office. If everyone doesn't rally behind McCain than you hand her the Election.
As for Coulter, and Limbaugh... **** them. They are ideologue douchebags and exactly what is wrong with the entire conservative movement. Actually, **** labels like Conservative/Liberal... They are all ********. JUST KEEP HILLARY OUT...

And the douchebag or Obama does? The former is a vile nonentity that is diametrically opposed to everything I stand for; and the latter is a poser who won't even honor the flag?

No...I stated it pretty clearly, I think.

A vote for a third party candidate is a vote for the democrats.
The dems say that its a vote for republicans. I say...if it's a vote on your principles, its a vote for your principles.

I agree; we are truly hosed, with no viable candidate (and what makes you think Romney would be any better????).
I certainly dont think he would be any worse, but I do think he'd be a bit better than McCain...at least Romney has understanding of Economics, McCain knows nothing about it.

But I am willing to take a chance with McCain; I KNOW what will happen with either of the other two; more taxes, more handouts for the wogs, a reduction in my quality of life.
This is with McCain as well...remember, also...he is pro-amnesty, voted against tax cuts, has sided with Democrats on just about -everything- but the war. His comments about "80% conservative vote" is the mutterings of a liar.

And Ron Paul is a screwball, IMO. Yeah, he's saying the right things to appeal to us on a visceral level; but he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning... even if the election process WAS totally above-board.

He's got 10 terms in congress voting for everything he says he believes in...thats 20 years of being a sound man of principle, in Washington D.C., and that makes him a screwball?

Unfortunately a lot of people feel the same, thanks to the mass media and party elitists.

I think he says the right things because he believes them, and he has always voted as if he did.

At 72yrs old, with 18 kids and grandkids...I think he's giving 'We the People' and our country the end of his life because he truly believes in the Founding Fathers and the Constitution.

I've met Dr. Paul twice, and met almost his whole family once.

There are not 10 people on this entire planet that I have more respect or admiration for.

That probably makes me a screwball too, but thats OK.

Ron Paul is great, but HE NEVER HAD A SHOT, nor shall anyone like him ever be President in our lifetime. And I say this as a registered card carrying Libertarian. I would have loved to see someone like him have a shot, but he doesn't and won't ever. So the only principle left in this election is to keep the lesser of two evils from gaining power. And like him or not, McCain is certainly the lesser evil here...
