Picked up an old Ruger mark 1 pistol.
Something to tinker with. Love the Luger look.
    Haven't shot it yet.

That is a Great Shooter. I've run a few bricks threw my Dad's. When you get use to it try a rapid fire point & shoot. I use to think it was designed after the Luger too, but I was wrong. It's a Bill Ruger design from a jap Nambu. Look at the bolt setup and the grip angle.

Well, I shot it some last weekend. Trigger is real
nice. Shoots nice and straight just like
it should. Had mag trouble though.
It was pretty worn. Gonna buy another
and give it a try later.
    :) defiantly a shooter!

I remember buying a 6-in MK 1 in Denver, new from a sporting goods place, for $49 I think it was. I actually killed a lot of prairie dogs with it. Found a place in the foothills with zillions of them, average shot was 50 yds. Missed a lot, but hit a lot, too. Now I have a stainless MKII bull barrel. Rugers are the best .22 pistols of any, in my humble opinion.
